Streets renamed, started movement for street arc lights

1915

Completion of the Washington Grammar School
Entire business district paved and electrolier system installed

1919

Lindsay Community Development Co. started to build houses. State Board of Control asked to provide money for State Engineering Department to make survey of water resources

1920

Chamber of Commerce incorporated

1920

Authorized participation in Tulare County Fair

1921

Advocates adequate tariff on olives, promotes an organization of orange growers to handle shipping problems

1922

Twenty-eight blocks of paving added to city streets

1923

Chamber of Commerce purchased flags for downtown streets

1924

New Southern Pacific depot promoted by the Chamber

1925

Cooperates with Lucca Olive Oil Co., starting plant

1926

Sponsored special train to Madera where Lindsay High School baseball team played for Valley Championship
Lindsay girl chosen Queen of Tulare County Fair

1928

Collected $13,000, which was used to put over State water plan
Chamber of Commerce sponsored campaign to sell stock for community hotel. $154,000 was sold and company formed

Circulation of 5000 brochure type folders advertising Lindsay as a fine place to live
