The Lindsay Aquatic Center opened June 12th.  The pool, at 740 N. Sequoia Avenue, is open to the public from noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
Parking is no longer accessible on Sequoia Avenue. Visitors are advised to park on the south side of the pool next to the golf course and enter by the golf course clubhouse.
The facility offers lessons, lap swimming, and competition this summer.
The swim lessons run in intervals of two-weeks, three times a day Monday through Friday from June 14th through August 5th. Classes are Beginner 1, Beginner 2, Advanced 1, Advanced 2 and Advanced 3 levels. For qualifications for each level, please see the McDermont Field House Aquatic Center page.
An Introduction to Water Polo (adult co-ed) class will be held June 18th through August. 6th.
Fitness classes include lap swimming from 5:30 to 10 a.m. and from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; Aqua Aerobics Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 to 9 a.m; and Aqua Fitness Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 to 9 a.m.
The Lindsay Skimmers, Lindsay's swim team, will meet Monday-Friday 5:30pm-7:30pm. Anyone interested in competing are encouraged to contact Tamera at 559-562-7106.
In addition, the Aquatic Center is available for exclusive rental for private parties. McDermont Members receive a 10 percent discount.
