Friday Night Market ExpandedDue to the great success of the Friday Night Market, it has been expanded from its original location along Sweet Brier Avenue to include Honolulu Street, between Sweet Brier and Mirage Avenues and Elmwood Avenue, between Apia and Samoa Streets. Please be advised that while businesses will remain open, these sections of Sweet Brier, Honolulu, and Elmwood will be closed to vehicle traffic beginning at 2:30 pm on Fridays. For those with special needs requiring parking near affected businesses, please arrive well before the street closure at 2:30 pm on Fridays. For questions regarding accessibility or the Friday Night Market street closures, contact Diane Bucaroff, the Disability Advisor for the City of Lindsay at 562-7114.

When people across the world think about California, one of the things that they think of are the delicious oranges we grow. In celebration of our most famous crop, the town of Lindsay holds the Lindsay’s Orange Blossom Festival once a year.
The festival has changed a lot over the last 77 years, but one thing has remained constant. The feeling of fun and community that you get when you attend the festival is no doubt close to the same feeling that attendees at the first festival felt. If you didn’t get a chance to attend this year’s festival, make it a point to attend the one next year, and all the ones that follow.
