Chamber Recruits AMGEN Volunteers

Dear Members,

We are recruiting volunteers for the Lindsay leg of the AMGEN bike tour.  We are looking for volunteers to help while the bike riders pass through town.  This is a huge event for our community, like the "Super Bowl" of bike riding.  We need volunteers to help keep roads/driveways closed and clear the street while the athletes are coming through.

The date of the AMGEN California Tour is Thursday, May 20th. This will be about a 3-hour event.  We are also asking for a commitment to attend a volunteer training meeting on May 18, at 5:30 pm at El Palmar Restaurant lasting around 1 hour. Please download the requested waiver and volunteer handbookMarshal-downloadWe will meet at the corner of Sweetbrier and Hermosa on May 20th between 9 and 10:00 a.m. Each volunteer will be receiving a volunteer T-shirt.  Please remember to bring your waiver . Please pass this on to any organization that might be interested in volunteering.

We are also inviting you to bring your family and friends to downtown Lindsay for this monumental event and enjoy music, and a car show while you wait.

Thank you.
