Help Our Businesses Rise From the Ashes!

Four of our downtown businesses were destroyed when a fire swept through Honolulu and Elm streets early in the morning of June 11. There are GoFundMe campaigns for two of the business that need help rebuilding: El Cumbias Mi Nombre and Cabrera Jewelry.

Jose Cabrera Hernandez is the owner of Cabrera Jewelry, formerly located at 100 E Honolulu. When Jose got a call early on Friday morning, he got the most devastating news: Cabrera Jewelry has been reduced to ashes.

“There’s nothing left, said Virginia Loya, Executive Director of the Lindsay Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber has set up a GoFundMe page to help raise funds and get Jose back in business. Visit the page, here.

Javier Ignacio Aragon, owner of El Cumbias Mi Nombre. It carries second-hand clothes, electronics and furniture. Javier has no insurance and also needs assistance. He also has a GoFundMe page.
