The Lindsay Chamber of Commerce Awards and Banquet was established to recognize significant contributions made by the Lindsay community members and businesses. Awards are presented to individuals whom have exemplified the spirit of Lindsay. This past past year’s event, held every year since it’s inception in 1912, drew around 200 of the city’s business and community leaders.
The event is held in January each year. This year’s theme is “Royal Celebration” and will be held Saturday, January 28. The evening will include the awards presentation, a silent auction, dinner, and dancing.
Awards include: Man of the Year, Woman of the Year, Youth of the Year, Business of the Year, Ambassador of the Year, Organization of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Employee of the Year and President’s Award.
Awards are determined from nominations made by the members of the Chamber of Commerce. More information is available here.
